IDEAS FOR TEACHERS
The Veterans’ Museum also coordinates with school teachers,
churches, and civic groups for special tours of the
facility. The volunteers at the
Museum supply school teachers and students with a list of
questions for “scavenger
hunts, i.e. Why was our “Code” not broken/compromised during
WW II?, How were our
Prisoner-of-War veterans aided to find their way home after
escaping from their
capturers?, Who was Carlos Hathcock (“White Feather”)?.
These are just a few of our
Veterans’ experiences while serving their country.
